The villa is located amidst the lush paddy fields of Assagao, a quintessential Goan village with winding roads flanked by coconut palms and old Goan homes. The seamless connection between the surrounding landscape and interior spaces became a key design driver for the project. The villa was designed with a simple tropical aesthetic and quaint Goan ambience. Most key rooms give a picturesque view of the paddy field outside along with the semi-open large verandahs at both levels. The property includes a yoga pavillion overlooking a vast swimming pool that is surrounded by lush tropical foliage.
The interiors of the house boasts a minimal contemporary style mixed with eclectic pieces. All spaces are well illuminated and ventilated and seamlessly connect to the outdoors. The material palette is all natural and the colour palette is a combination of white, beige and timber that effortlessly blends with the hues of green in the landscape around the house. Pop colour accents have been introduced in the home with accent cushions, rugs and art pieces. The house is designed to have a casual ease synonymous with Goan living and styled in a culture sensitive contemporary manner.
